Government of India warned that Blackberry phone wholesale maker RIM, BlackBerry, if not resolved the issue involving national security, will close its operations in India.
India has asked the Ministry of Telecommunications Ministry of the Interior informed the RIM, the encryption of e-mail and other data services must allow security services to crack. Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted an anonymous government official as saying reports: “If they do not follow our rules, we will have no choice but asked them to stop operations in India.”
PTI said that India has nearly one million flash phones for sale users, but the smart phone uses advanced encryption technology to India’s security sector cannot be intercepted and cracked information. India’s Ministry of the Interior said, RIM in other countries like the United States have resolved the security concerns, there is no reason to pursue specialization in India.
This, RIM and the Indian government were not immediately available for comment. Government of India has been limited to Chinese telecommunications equipment manufacturers from imported products such as WiFi phone for sale, as Indian intelligence agencies worried that these devices may be installed spyware. In the past, RIM and the Indian government to resolve national security concerns have held several talks.
